Akanu Ibiam International airport Enugu
Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu was closed for repairs by FAAN on August 24, 2019.
Repairs yet to begin as at today October 10, 2019
If nothing has been done to fix the airport since August 24, 2019 when do you think they will begin the repairs and when do you think they will complete the work?

Closing the airport to fix the runway was a good move because any avoidable plane crash on that runway would have been terrible but not having any plans to fix the runway 46 days after closing it simply shows that the people that took the decision are either incompetent, clueless or wicked.
The roads are in terrible condition so traveling by road is both difficult and dangerous. The only international airport in the region has been closed for repairs that may never begin anytime soon.
